Our History : Proudly celebrating our 55th Anniversary
Founded in 1954 by Edward Jennings, Jennings Funeral Home has been a community landmark of Tampa ever since. Most notable for the cat on the roof
placed there by the original builder, John Gennaro, it is still in the same location for passers-by to see. In 1970, current owner Michael Adams began working for Jennings Funeral Home, managing the funeral home's daily activities. Then, in 1989, Mike, wanting to continue the family tradition and service, purchased the funeral home, and with the addition of his daughter, Stacy, maintains a family tradition of serving the families of Tampa Bay.
Adams & Jennings Funeral Home is a proud, charter member of the Independent Funeral Directors Of Florida Association. Stacy Adams served as its president. She was the first female president of the association.
"Families we serve continue to count on us at their most desperate moments because they know that they can place their trust in us."
